Types of Food License:

There are three types of Food License-

1. Basic Food License: The Basic Food License is intended for small-scale food businesses. It is suitable for businesses such as small food manufacturers, storage units, transporters, retailers, marketers, distributors, etc
2. State Food License: The State Food License is applicable to medium-sized food businesses. It is suitable for establishments that have a moderate level of food production, processing, and distribution activities within a specific state.
3. Central Food License: The Central Food License is required for large-scale food businesses operating across multiple states or engaging in import/export of food products. It is applicable to manufacturers, processors, packers, re-labelers, and exporters with significant turnovers.
